The Yorke Peninsula Spoke Network consists of community organisations, individuals and service providers. We aim to improve the health and wellbeing of all people on the Yorke Peninsula and work in partnership in the provision of services to people on Yorke Peninsula.
OUR OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:
To promote services and activities of different agencies by networking.
To communicate effectively in order to increase knowledge of service availability and identify gaps.
To provide support for members.
To provide support for programs and community activities.
To participate in regional forums through representation.
To enhance collaboration between services.
STRATEGIES
Support for funding applications.
Lobbying and advocacy group.
Meet on a regular basis to network and promote organisation/services
Encourage/invite guest speakers to increase our knowledge and awareness of resources appropriate to our services.
Administer the small grants programme (funding from Wakefield SPOKE)
Representation on Wakefield SPOKE.
Promote the YP SPOKE in the wider community.
Work together collaboratively for HACC funding planning and initiatives.
MEETING STRUCTURES
Chairperson to be elected at the April meeting.
Secretary to be shared on rotational basis.
Meetings on even months on second Monday; 1.00 - 3.30pm, unless otherwise agreed to. Dates to be set at the April meeting.
Venue: Maitland, Town Hall
Annual Donation - $7.50 from each agency to cover costs and to fund use of facilities.

Terms of Reference to be reviewed at the April meeting.
To be formed at the April meeting each year. This group would consist of Chairperson, Wakefield SPOKE Committee Representative, and three others. One is to be nominated as the grants co-ordinator. This group to meet prior to YP SPOKE meeting. They may review grant applications prior to this time if it is urgent.
